Fresh, Funny and Faithful. This book is FRESH, FUNNY, and full of real FAITH. Few people have the ability to share personal stories in print and yet make you feel like you are right there with them, relating personally all the way. It doesn't read like a manufactured book that has neat and tidy chapter after neat and tidy chapter. So be willing to read in a different format and style. But that's what makes this book so refreshing- nothing about life, mine nor Amanda's seems to have been neat and tidy in the first place. ABOUT THE AUTHOR
AMANDA SHARP
Amanda was born in Boulder, Colorado and grew up in many cities with Grand Lake & Breckenridge CO being her favorites. She graduated from Denver South High School. She attended and graduated from Oral Roberts University with a major in Commercial Art (Graphic Art), was a NCAA Volleyball Player & the yearbook photographer.
She is a product of divorce and quite frankly someone you'll want to know. Varied life experiences, during high school years including frequent moves, new step parents and siblings, sports, leadership, youth groups, high school clubs, and academic excellence, combined to create the person she is today. She makes and keeps friends easily and is loyal in her pursuit of relationships. She finds great joy in supporting her friends in their personal goals and dreaming again.
She is a huge fan of SHOCK humor and especially with people she perceives haven't laughed in awhile. Along the way, she was told often that she is heavy deep and real (dives into deep subjects) and has been told her whole life that her wit and humor is one of a kind. You could ask any person to describe her and humor would be one of the top three. She knows how to bring a comfort level in people and non-judgmental space that creates utmost honesty about their struggles.
She was married for 14 years and has 2 amazing and beautiful boys. Through the pain of divorce, this book was conceived. Her goal was to help her boys and herself walk through it by choosing life and humor. They are her inspiration for many laughs. (the wit and humor in the house is mind blowing for sure). Amanda is self employed single mom working as a seminar photographer, affiliate marketer & health and wellness coach. Her work with a personal development company in the last 15 years has contributed to her character development & sense of humor.
Her life goals included becoming a woman of excellence in her pursuit of God. Her hopes for this, her first book is that the reader will find freedom through their suffering and embrace a sense of humor on their next step of their journey, creating a new outlook. She has always looked at self improvement as a must. Evolving her character, she strives to keep learning and growing and hopes to make a large difference in this world. She absolutely trusts that the timing will be perfect for her reader. If you are mad at God or the church, she's got some great insights from the life of a pastors kid twice (figure that one out).
She has been an avid blogger since 2009 and has attracted hundreds of readers. As a result of the feedback, she decided to compile those blogs and life adventures into this compelling, thought evoking book detailing her spiritual quest and struggle to come out of the sorrow of lost dreams that can be created by divorce.
